Well for what feels like the millionth time I have re-launched The Sports ‘n Kidz Network, this time as a social networking site.
For those that know of this site it has taken on many forms for the over 10 years that I have been trying to make something happen with this concept.
Basically the idea was simple, our kids need to live active lifestyles in order to live long and healthy lives. The earlier in life that someone adopts an active lifestyle the more chances there are that that person will maintain that lifestyle. We as parents sometimes find it difficult to help our child find the right activity for them as not all sports are meant for all people. A place to go for not only information on what is available to our children, but also one where we can ask questions and get support so that our children can fully enjoy themselves.
Those basic ideas is what ends up in the attempt to find the correct form for The Sports ‘n Kidz Network. And I hope this is the final “big change” that it will have to undertake to be able to serve those needs efficiently and serve the purpose that I always had hoped it would.
