The NBA Finals On the Goooooo!
I am so bummed that I didn’t look into this when the NBA Finals first started. This would have been much better than listening to the games on the radio like I ended up doing because of the milestone events that were coinciding with the games this year.
Sunday (and Tuesday if necessary) again presented itself with a conflict with my watching of the kiddies basketball games and the NBA Finals. Making it even harder was the fact that for one of the kiddie’s games going on we were also in charge of “snack” for the day so it isn’t like I could just dig out early or show up late. Then while doing research on LCD monitors for a video project coming up I get whacked in across the head with the realization that these things are also TELEVISIONS and the game is on a broadcast station and not cable. D’oh! All of a sudden my gloomy conflicted world is sunny and bright. Ahhhhh….technology!
Go Lakers!
BTW – I take back everything bad I’ve ever said about how digital TV was going to be bad for those with old battery powered TVs they use for emergencies. Suck it up folks! If you really want something for emergencies, but a digital TV. The picture is amazing and well worth dumping the old stuff for new.
Here are some quick screen shots. Including one where the signal wasn’t too good.
